Why must he play this game?
Why can’t he be real at all time and say what needs to be said? Damn, doesn’t she deserve that much? Can she get at least that much?
All she wants to do is be in his arms when she opens her eyes in the morning. When she sits at a desk reminiscing about the time they spent together; she cries knowing that will never happen again. Can love be this hard, this strange, this deep or this hurtful? Is it supposed to be? I don’t think so…
Why when she wants to know more he can not give her what she wants?
Can you really love her? Does he really love her?
Is it safe to say that you want your cake and eat it too?
Why can’t this girl walk away?
When you meet someone and all seems to be perfect, question it always. You might get your heart covered with a cute T-Shirt and ripped (like Hawk Hogan) right after.
He says he loves her but can not give her his all. He says he wants to be with her but never seems to take that extra step. She stays with him for a bit; thinking the love they seem to share would make him hers. Well, ladies we all know where this goes. He tells her that he is going to work it out at home.
But wait…
She thinks they can be friends. Yes I said it! She thinks they can still be friends with that love between them. Needless to say she became a different person for him. She became a side piece, a mistress. Why? Shit I don’t know. She says the love was right, the kiss made her insides burn, his touch made her shiver just a bit (kinda like when it's just a tad-bit cold and you’re starting to get goose bumps). That’s the love that made her do things she would never do. Like love him even when she was not supposed too. Breaking all the woman codes.
So, I ask what any other female would do when reading this story. Would you think less of the female in the story or embrace her because her heart loved him so?
Would you allow him time and space a "Do Over" in a sense?
Not sure if a “Do over” is warranted.
